XENIA — Xenia Community Library has programs planned for the month of October for all ages. The library is located at 76 E. Wonder Robotics Club for ages 10-14, 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 19, 26. You drove Dash and Dot during our Maker Fridays. Now learn to program these interactive robots through fun challenges. The club will meet once a week most weeks. Registration required.

Argentine Cuisine with Mariano Rios of La Pampa Grill for adults, 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12. Enjoy a presentation and tasting of traditional Argentine cuisine, cooked on a wood-fire grill. Mariano and friends will demonstrate and discuss their method of traditional, farm-to-table, simple cooking. Registration required.

Ready, Set, Draw for ages 8 and up, 4-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17. Learn to draw in a few easy steps.

Stop Motion Animation for ages 12-18, 3:30-4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18. Make your own stop motion video using our cameras, software, and props. No experience needed.

Vocational Information and Preparation for adults, 2:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. This class consists of reviewing resumé dos and don’ts, dressing for success, interviewing tips, and proper work behaviors to help you succeed on the job.

Pokémon at the Library for age 16 and older, Saturday, Oct. 22. Bring your Pokémon card deck and play in our Pokémon Tournament. Registration required.

Halloween Chemistry, 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24. See how chemistry can make Halloween frightening and delightful because, of course, science is fun.

Halloween Crafts, 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. Drop in to decorate a mask or a treat bag for Halloween.

Understanding Your Utilities for adults, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. Guest speaker will be discussing a program some may be familiar with and already utilize: Energy Choice. This program will aim to educate Ohioans on what is available to them. Feel free to bring bills and come along with any utilities related questions/problems.

Duct Tape Costumes for ages 10-18, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28. Use Duct tape and other craft supplies to make a costume or accessories to a costume.

Family Movie Night: Hocus Pocus, 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31. Free family movie, snack, and seasonal fun. Feel free to come in costume.
