FCS celebrates students, staff

FAIRBORN — The Fairborn City Schools Board of Education recognized 33 students/staff members at the “Student/Staff of the Quarter” recently held in the Fairborn High School auditorium. This recognition was started by the FCS Board of Education to recognize students and staff who are exemplary members of the school community.

The next “Student/Staff of the Quarter” will be held 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 in the FHS auditorium.

Honorees include:

Fairborn Primary School:

– Fairborn Primary teacher: Diane Alessandro

– Preschool: Macy Weiss and Ben Lemaster

– Kindergarten: Avonlea Henderson and Nathan Helle

– First Grade: Kaitlin Alting and Shayne Thomas

– Second Grade: Natalie Nolan and Noah Hemphill

– Third Grade: Annabelle Courtney-Myers and Matthew Wardle

Fairborn Intermediate School:

– Fourth Grade: Emma Ransom and Devin Lester

– Fifth Grade: Hailey Webb and Aiden Billingsley

Baker Middle School:

– Baker Middle School teacher: Ashley Geiger

– Sixth Grade: Erin Reichert and Elijah Greene

– Seventh Grade: Joceylyn Gale and Shiloh Arnold

– Eighth Grade: Samantha Hart and Adrian Bryan

Fairborn High School:

– Fairborn High School teacher: Nathan Opicka

– Ninth Grade: Destiny Ferrigno and Jesse Philpot

– Tenth Grade: Kiersten Pugh and Jared Austin

– Eleventh Grade: Thaliyah Cools-Lartigue and Samuel Miller

– Twelfth Grade: Taylor Rice and Brandon Lilley

– Transportation Department: Billy Whitt

– FECA Staff Member: Kim O’Loughlin
