XENIA — A man reportedly involved in a Xenia home invasion last year was sentenced Thursday to serve three years in prison for the incident.

As part of a plea agreement, Richard Nared, 20, pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary while a felony robbery charge was dismissed.

At the time of incident in October 2015, Xenia police said the 92-year-old resident of a home on Delta Avenue answered a knock at his door and multiple individuals rushed in and began to assault him. According to police, the man was pinned to the ground by the assailants and money was stolen from his home.

Timothy Dunlap, 22, was sentenced to two years in prison last month for a robbery charge in connection with the incident.

A case for Yolanda Cowin, 36, also involved in the incident, according to police, is pending in Greene County Common Pleas Court. Cowin faces charges of aggravated burglary and robbery.
