FAIRBORN – Shots were fired around 10:14 p.m. Aug. 5 on the 200 block of Maple Terrace in Fairborn, after multiple reports were made regarding a male in the area with what appeared to be stab wounds to his head.

Upon arrival of the Fairborn Police Department officers, the injured man reported that three other white males had made their way into his residence and assaulted him, leading them to flee the scene in a red compact truck. The vehicle included a white cap, which has a horizontal stripe around the middle, on the bed. One passenger fired two rounds into the air from a hand gun.

The victim was taken to the hospital for serious, but not life threatening, injuries. The Fairborn Police Department is still on the lookout for the vehicle.
