SIDNEY — Playing with plenty of confidence, the underdog Greeneview Rams jumped out to an early 17-0 lead over the defending four-time Division V state champion Coldwater Cavaliers, only to fall 27-24, Saturday night in a thrilling regional semifinal contest at Sidney Memorial Stadium’s 30 & 0 Field.
Greeneview had a chance to tie the game and send things to overtime, but a 21-yard field goal attempt in the game’s final minutes was blocked.
