XENIA — His name was Elmer Wolf, but friends called him “Barney.” He served for more than 35 years on the Fair Board with his major responsibility being the Grange Hall Building which he said was the coolest building on the fairgrounds, with doors on all four sides. His first responsibility at the fair was the swine show, but then he took over the responsibilities of the Grange building for more than 25 years. He loved working with the exhibits of fresh and canned fruits and vegetables as well as the displays of the local Grange organizaitons.
