CARROLL 47, DAYTON MEADOWDALE 28: Xander Smart let the Patriots with 12 points in Saturday’s nonleague road win over Dayton Meadowdale. Beau Austin came off the Carroll bench to score seven points while starters Jackson Jabir and David Ivey finished with six points each. Carroll outscored the host Lions by at least three points in each quarter, and held a 26-17 lead at the break.
BEAVERCREEK 63, KETTERING FAIRMONT 54: Tyler Reasoner scored a team-high 22 points, while Beavers teammates Airius Moore and Jarred Waters finished with 15 and 12 points respectively, in Friday’s road win over the Firebirds. Reasoner achieved a double-double by also hauling in 10 rebounds in the game.
BELLBROOK 50, OAKWOOD 41: Half of the Golden Eagles’ points came from their bench in Friday’s home win over the Oakwood Lumberjacks. Landon Singletary and Alex Campbell came off the bench to score a respective 12 and 11 points, and Josh Rogers added a bucket as well. Starter Austin Hall finished with 10 points, while fellow starter Tyler Everidge finished with eight points in the win.
YELLOW SPRINGS 58, SPRINGFIELD EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 37: The Bulldogs jumped out to a 33-19 halftime lead and stayed out in front the rest of the way. Kaner Butler finished with a game-high 17 points to lead Yellow Springs. Devon Perry tossed in 12 points, and Isaiah Taylor added 10 points, in the win. Emmanuel Christian was led by Kyle Gosney who finished with 12 points in the loss.
XENIA CHRISTIAN 69, MIAMI VALLEY 56: Three Ambassadors scored in double figures to lead Xenia Christian to Friday’s road win in Kettering. Jordan Freeman finished with a team-high 17 points while Josh Sotlar dumped in 14 points and Justin Martin scored 13 for Xenia Christian. No individual statistics were available for Miami Valley.
GREENON 61, INDIAN LAKE 57: Four Knights players scored in double figures to enable Greenon to rally from a 27-24 halftime deficit. Tyler Restau led the way with a 15-point effort, while teammates Jacob Whetsel (14 points), Chase Green (13) and Aiden Stockton (12) also finished with double-figure points totals. Other scorers for the Knight were Jacob Riegel (six) and Tim Blase (one).
CLAYTON NORTHMONT 2,693, BEAVERCREEK 2,598: Despite 400 pin totals from the Beavers’ Ben Thomas (455), Jaemes Chouinard and Christian Litteral (453 each), Cole Meredith (444) and Ryan Brown (400), Beavercreek wasn’t able to best Northmont on Friday. The Thunderbolts were led by Steve Kocher who rolled a match-high 515 pin count.
CARROLL 2,469, DAYTON CHAMINADE JULIENNE 2,224: Four hundred-plus pin totals from Baylen Shoemaker (463) and Jarrett Cooper (441), along with strong support from fellow Patriot bowlers Matt Boggs (291), Sam Yarnall (148), Quinn Goodpaster (110) and a fellow listed as “Substitution #1” (239), helped Carroll claim a GCL Co-Ed win over Chaminade Julienne on Thursday. Eric Handorf led the Eagles with a team-high 418 pin total in the loss.
BEAVERCREEK 2,476, CLAYTON NORTHMONT 1,993: The Beavercreek team of Colleen Hines (497 pins), Brittany-Ann O’Connell (457), Raven Cooper (407), Lindsey Klein (376) and Erin Harley (375) enabled the Battlin’ Beavers to claim Friday’s win over Northmont. Zoe Boone led the Thunderbolts with a 409 pin total.
CARROLL 2,068, DAYTON CHAMINADE JULIENNE 1,735: Christina Hauber (344 pin total), Katelyn Hagstrom (328) Sarah Connair (324), Samantha Young (276) and Tessa Sobieski (208) combined efforts to best the Eagles of Chaminade Julienne in a Greater Catholic League Co-Ed match held on Thursday. No details were provided from CJ.
FAIRBORN 64, CLAYTON NORTHMONT 56: Kayla Patterson scored a team-high 26 points to lead the Skyhawks to Saturday’s home win over Northmont. Dominique Redmon also scored in double figures for Fairborn. She finished with 14 points in the win. Krissy Bennett came off the bench to score nine points, and starter Aaliyah Patton finished with eight.
GREENON 50, SPRINGFIELD 27: Host Greenon held a commanding 30-10 lead at halftime. Lianne Masquelier led the Lady Knights with a 12-point effort while teammates Harley Larson and Taylor Burson finished with 11 and 10 points respectively. Jenn Miller tossed in seven points, Brooke Robinson and Brittany Kozak scored four points each, and Lydia Newton added two more in Thursday’s home win in Enon.
