XENIA — The Friends of Greene County Combined Health District are presenting their 14th Annual Golf Scramble on Friday, August 8 at the Beavercreek Golf Club.
The Golf Scramble is a “Bogey-Friendly” outing in scramble format, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The cost of the event is $100 per player and $400 per foursome. The cost includes cart and greens fees, continental breakfast, catered lunch, course refreshments and a goodie bag (including a dozen golf balls) for each golfer. Golfers can register now up to the day of the outing.
New to this year’s outing is a “Beer Goggles Hole” and returning is the popular “Speed Hole.” At the Beer Goggles Hole, all players will wear a pair of goggles that distorts their vision while playing, and at the Speed Hole, players will compete for the fastest time. Many prizes are in the works for this year’s outing.
The event is being sponsored in part by Greene/Soin Hospitals, the Greene County Dailies, Classic Country Radio 1500 AM, WHIO TV 7 and WHIO News Talk Radio.
Members of the Friends of Greene County Combined Health District are looking for outing sponsors and donations of raffle prizes. Sponsorships start at $50 and donations are accepted for any amount or item.
