CLARK COUNTY — The Clark County Sheriff’s Office with overtime funds available with a grant from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office will be placing additional deputies on county roadways during the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
The enforcement effort will be from Friday, Aug. 15 to Monday, Sept. 1.
The focus of the enforcement will be impaired operators of motor vehicles, speeding violations and seat belt enforcement. Deputies will enforce a zero tolerance policy for these violations. Deputies will have added enforcement on the county roadways during this campaign, with special attention in Bethel Township.
Sheriff Gene Kelly reminds all motorists not to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence and to always wear your seat belt while operating or as a passenger in a motor vehicle.
