SPRINGFIELD — “A Taste of Chocolate” is the theme of the Women’s Association of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra’s eighth annual Culinary Capers kitchen tour, which will make stops at five local kitchens.


The tour will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, April 26. Featured on the tour this year are the kitchens of Bob and Beckie Baker at 1470 Kingsgate Road, Ross McGregor and Cathy Crompton, DDS at 2915 Burrwood Drive, Brian and Erin Yontz at 100 Ardmore Road, Brighton Partners at 133 Brighton Road, and David and Vickie Pressler at 626 East Third Street.


Special tastes will be available at each kitchen and are being provided by Seasons Bistro and Grille, Coffelt Candy, Coffee Expressions, Unbelievable Bakery, Dottie’s Creative Cakes, and Susan’s Country Cupboard. WASSO members are planning a special bake sale at the kitchen at 133 Brighton Road. Proceeds benefit the Springfield Symphony Orchestra.


Tour tickets are $15 and may be purchased at The Chandler House, Curves West, Schneider’s Florist, Frame Haven, Heart of Country, Katie’s Hallmark, the Springfield Symphony Office 937-325-8100, online at www.springfieldsym.org, at Bill’s Enchanted Florist in Urbana, or at Heaven on Earth Emporium in Yellow Springs.
