YELLOW SPRINGS — The 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10 service at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Yellow Springs will be be “Becoming Self-Sufficient with DIY Micro Off-the-Grid Systems.” The speaker is David Barker, a longtime Yellow Springs resident, who practices and lectures on do-it-yourself (DIY) survival techniques and living off the grid. He attended Clark State and Wilmington College and worked as a contractor in New Orleans after Katrina. All are welcome.

Religious education classes are available for youth in preschool to sixth grade, beginning at 10 a.m.
