YELLOW SPRINGS — Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Yellow Springs will be “The Seven Deadly Sins and Gluttony,” 10 a.m. Sunday, May 4. Member Mary Sims will introduce the seven deadly sins and the corresponding virtues discussed in the Bible and by philosophers for 2000 years. The emphasis is on Gluttony, which is over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste. It is paired with the virtue of Temperance, which is restraint and self-control.
A potluck lunch follows the program. Please bring a generous dish to share. All are welcome to attend. Religious education classes are available for youth in preschool to sixth grade, beginning at 10 a.m.
