GREENE COUNTY – Construction on Interstate 675 will require some upcoming ramp and lane closures near Fairborn and Beavercreek.
Current work to resurface I-675 will require ramp closures for North Fairfield Road and Dayton-Yellow Springs Road.
The ramp from North Fairfield Road to I-675 will be closed Friday, Sept. 5, and Monday, Sept. 8 through Wednesday, Sept. 10. The ramps will close beginning at 7 p.m. and will reopen by 6 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured to Pentagon Park Boulevard to Grange Hall Road to I-675.
The ramp from northbound I-675 to Dayton-Yellow Springs Road will be closed Sunday, Sept. 7 and Tuesday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 11 with traffic detoured to northbound I-675 to SR 235 to Dayton-Yellow Springs Road.
Bridge work will require nightly lane closures on north and southbound I-675 next week, Sept. 7-12. Lane closures will be each weeknight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day on north and southbound I-675 over West Yellow Springs-Fairfield Road. Traffic will be maintained. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
