YELLOW SPRINGS — Ian Chick, a junior at Yellow Springs High School, and his Economics instructor, Shawn Jackson, recently attended the University of Dayton RISE 14 Conference.

RISE is the largest and longest running student investment conference in the world, and students and professors from around the world come to the University of Dayton each year to attend. Featured speakers from Wall Street, corporate America, government and the financial media attend and interact with students.

Chick was a select high school student awarded a scholarship to attend and invited Jackson to attend as well. Ian enjoyed the session presented by Sandra Planalto, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Band of Cleveland. Jackson enjoyed the panel discussion led by Kelly Evans, CNBC New Anchor.
