SIDNEY — The Lockington Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its seventh annual car show and firefighter games Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Clearcreek Farms, 1900 S. Kuther Road, Sidney. The event will be held rain or shine.


The car show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with registration from 10 a.m. to noon. The first 75 cars will receive dash plaques. Categories include special interest, classic car, Corvette, motorcycles, trucks, unfinished, drag car, cars and trucks and fire trucks. A best in show will be chosen by the fire chief.


The firefighter games, which begin at 1 p.m., include bucket brigade, fire hose bowling and hose stretch. A trophy will be awarded to the overall winning department and their name will be placed on the plaque displayed at the LVFD fire station.


A cornhole tournament will also be held during the car show.


Food will be provided by the Lockington Volunteer Fire Department. The public is invited to attend. Bring a chair and listen to music provided by Miami Valley Kruzers.


Proceeds will go to the Lockington Volunteer Fire Department and Clearcreek Farm.
