Santa to appear at Enon tree lighting

ENON — The Village of Enon’s annual Tree Lighting event, sponsored by the Enon Community Historical Society, will be held Saturday, Dec. 2.

Caroling with the Greenon High School choir begins 6:45 p.m. at the Enon Log House, 45 Indian Drive (behind Village Hall). Everyone is invited to join in caroling and get in the spirit of Christmas. Meanwhile, the Mike Barry Research Center will also open at that location next door, where visitors may enjoy the holiday displays and music as well as visit the society library of local history and genealogical information.

Santa arrives soon after, riding in a special vehicle. Every year he visits in different transportation. He will join leading citizens and Enon Community Historical Society officials to light the outdoor Christmas tree. Following the lighting, Santa will visit with kids (of all ages) in the Enon Log House. Free refreshments are available. Be sure to bring your camera or cell phone to get the cutest kid photo of the year.
