FAIRBORN — Bath Township citizens took to the polls Nov. 7 and elected incumbents John Martin and Tom Pitstick to continue their service as trustees, according to unofficial final election results.

Martin received 2,427 votes, or 36.90 percent, while Pitstick received 2,468, or 37.52 percent. Challenger Michelle Clements-Pitstick received 1,683 votes, or 25.59 percent.

In a previous election-related event, Martin said it has been challenging as a trustee to maintain township items and services with less funds provided by the state. He said at the event that he hoped to continue moving the township in a positive direction while maintaining a good relationship with the City of Fairborn upon his re-election. This is Martin’s fifth term as trustee.

At the same event, Pitstick said that his greatest challenge as a trustee is maintaining fiscal responsibility among township items. Pitstick holds a number of leadership positions under his belt and currently serves as vice president of the Greene County Regional Planning Commission in addition to his duties as township trustee.
