SPRING VALLEY TOWNSHIP — Two Greene County residents died in a motorcycle accident Oct. 22.

Brook Fudge, 23, of Xenia, and Sherill Cruea, 25, of Fairborn, were pronounced dead at the scene when the motorcycle Fudge was driving struck a vehicle driven by Gregory Davidson, 29, of Cincinnati. According to a release from the state highway patrol, Davidson was westbound on West Spring Valley-Paintersville Road when he attempted to turn left onto US Route 42 South and was struck by the motorcycle.

The cycle drove down an embankment and overturned, according to the patrol.

Davidson was treated at the scene for minor injuries, while a passenger, Julie Wells, 27, of Lebanon, was transported to Greene Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Fudge and Cruea were wearing helmets, the patrol said, while Davidson and Wells were wearing their seat belts. The release said alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
