The Fairborn Parks and Recreation Department is hosting regular summer camps throughout the season. This week, it hosted “Wild Wonders,” during which local children learned about insects and animals.
Campers had the opportunity to paint flower pots, which they used to plant wildflowers in hopes of attracting butterflies.
Before the children started a painting activity during camp June 27, participants discovered an ant colony before they learned about the butterfly life cycle.
