Safety City held for 50-year

Students explored the interior of a bus, fire trucks and police vehicles. They are pictured as they saw the interior of a Fairborn police car.

Students had the opportunity to play outdoors during Safety City. They are pictured driving and walking the course, in which they learned how to be responsible drivers (staying in their own lane, stopping completely, following directions) and staying on the sidewalk and crossing at correct locations as pedestrians.

Students learned how to be responsible pedestrians and bus riders, what to do in the case of a fire, how to handle seeing a gun, matches and/or a lighter near them as well as animal safety, among other topics. They are pictured demonstrating how to lay in the case of being attacked by a dog with their family members observing nearby at the Safety City graduation.
