President of Soin Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital, Rick Dodds, spoke at a celebration ceremony for the five-year anniversary of Soin Medical Center.

Fred Manchur, CEO of Kettering Health Network, was one member of Soin’s leadership team who spoke at the ceremony, recalling the first day shovels hit the ground and how far the hospital has come since then.

The ceremony in the hospital lobby, which was attended by Kettering Health Network leaders, physicians, staff, volunteers, and community leaders, honored Indu and Raj Soin.

Soin Medical Center opened to patients on Feb. 22, 2012. The hospital, located in Beavercreek next to The Mall at Fairfield Commons, has experienced tremendous growth in the last five years.
