Local funeral home unveils new name

FAIRBORN — Fairborn’s Burcham-Jennings Funeral Home, a provider in the Dignity Memorial network, unveiled a new name — Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home, as a reflection of the partnership between two Dayton-area long-standing providers in the funeral care industry.

Effective today, Burcham-Jennings will officially become Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home.

Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home has served the community of Fairborn since 1959, providing service excellence for decades. In the Dayton-area, the Tobias name has served families for more than three generations, providing quality services for more than 75 years. With the addition of Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home, the Tobias name will offer services at five locations: Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. in Fairborn, Tobias Beavercreek Chapel, Tobias Belmont Chapel, Tobias Englewood Chapel, Tobias Far Hills Chapel.

“We have a longstanding relationship with the community and are proud that since 1959 we have served the families of Fairborn,” said Douglas Musser, general manager at Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home. “We are honored to serve the families of Dayton and Fairborn and look forward to providing quality services for generations to come.”
