XENIA — OSU Extension Greene County invites the community Monday, Dec. 12 for “A Day of Diseases.”

Join ​The ​Ohio ​State ​University ​College ​of ​Agriculture ​plant ​pathologists ​for ​an ​update ​on ​common ​diseases ​found ​in ​the ​home ​garden ​and ​learn ​about ​their ​management.

Three plant pathologists will give updates in three different areas noon to 3 p.m. at the Greene County Extension office, 100 Fairground Rd.

Dr. Francesca Hand, Ohio State ornamental plant pathologist, will discuss ornamental diseases in home landscape.

Learn how to manage common diseases on fruit trees and other small fruits with Dr. Mary Ivey, Ohio State fruit pathologist.

Anna Testen, Ohio State OARDC vegetable pathologist, will give an update on common diseases in the vegetable garden.

The deadline to register is Dec. 8. The cost is $10. Participants can register online at http://www.regonline.com/a_day_of_diseases.
