Coalition to host community drug forum

XENIA — The Greene County Community Drug Coalition announced that it will be presenting the 3rd annual Community Drug Forum 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Herman N. Menapace Center for Health Education, 1141 N. Monroe Drive.

This forum is designed to discuss concrete action steps and community resources to help your family and the community discover ways to be part of the solution to prevent and treat the disease of substance use disorders. A moderator will lead the discussion with a panel of professionals with varying topics to include:

• Health Promotion – Ashley Steveley, Greene County Public Health

• Prevention – Amanda Pollock, Greene County Educational Service Center

• Treatment – Lynn Oliver, TCN Behavioral Health

• Recovery Support – Nate Crago and Amy Pulver, The Hope Spot

The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and there will be a resource and refreshment area available to guests before and after the panel discussion.

This event is free and open to the public.

The forum is being sponsored by: Mayor Dan Kirkpatrick, Fairborn; Mayor Bob Stone, Beavercreek; Mayor Marsha Bayless, Xenia; Judge Beth Capelli, Fairborn Municipal Court; Mental Health and Recovery Board of Clark, Greene and Madison Counties; Greene Medical Foundation; Greene County Educational Service Center; Greene County Education Superintendents, Isaac Seevers and Terry Graves‐Strieter.
