XENIA — A bi-partisan meet the candidates event will be hosted by the Greene County Tea Party 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center, 130 E. Church St.

The party has invited state and county candidates. Candidates in contested races, including the US House of Representatives and Senate, Ohio House and Senate, Ohio Supreme Court and Ohio Board of Education, will have the opportunity to take the stage for three minutes each. Candidates in uncontested races have been invited to participate in informal chat with attendees.

The meet the candidates event will also discuss county-level issues, offering information about the Greene County Career Center .75 renewal levy and the Greene Memorial Hospital 0.5 mill renewal levy.
