Greene County News

XENIA — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) recently completed improvements at the Jacoby Road canoe access, which is managed by Greene County Parks & Trails and is adjacent to the Little Miami State and National Scenic River in Greene County.

Located on one of the most scenic sections of the Little Miami River, the access and associated 23-acre park are just a few miles east of US Route 68, north of Xenia, south of Yellow Springs and west of Clifton.

Jacoby Road is located off Clifton Road between Xenia and Yellow Springs.

Improvements included regrading of the existing parking lot with a new gravel surface and an improved gravel walkway leading down to the river to provide for easier paddler access.

The park site provides excellent fishing and hiking opportunities as well as primitive campsites that can be reserved through Greene County Parks & Trails.
