ENON – The Enon Police Department was dispatched to Cardinal Drive at approximately 6:17 p.m. on July 11 after receiving word that an individual had accidently been shot.

The 62-year-old individual was stabalized on scene by paramedics of Mad River Township Fire and EMS. However, CareFlight was still dispatched to the scene to transport the individual for additional medical treatment.

The individual passed away later that evening at Miami Valley Hospital. Police are still investigating the cause.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assisted the Enon Police Department on scene at the time of the occurance.
