Yellow Springs came back in the third set to hold on and get the victory.
The second doubles team for Yellow Springs held tough to make some key shots to hold off Fairborn in a great match that went back and forth to win. The team of Savita Bathija and Quinn Levanthal beat Amanda Sillaman and Kyle Knepp 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 to give the match to the Yellow Springs team in a 3-2 score.
Winning for Fairborn at second singles was Caleb Boles over Issaac Haller in straight sets 7-5, 6-3 and the first doubles team of Nick Root and Andrew Hunter in a comeback win in 3 sets over Nicky Sontag and Will Turner 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The other two wins for Yellow Springs came at first singles with Addison Pettiford beating Chris McAuley 6-1,6-2 and winning at third singles was Carl Wiener over Joe Lorenzetti 7-6 (5), 6-4. It was a very close match at all positions as Fairborn continues to improve in their play and play every match tough. Fairborn is now 2-12 and Yellow Springs is 2-6.
