Bolser leads Hawks past CJ DAYTON — Sophie Bolser threw 13 strikeouts to help lead Fairborn to a 6-0 victory over host Chaminade Julienne on Tuesday night.
Bolser (6-2) allowed just three hits and hit one batter in earning the victory. She helped her cause by scoring two runs and batting 2-for-4 at the plate. Sarah Lilley went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, Brittany Duncan went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and Jessie Little went 1-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored and a sacrifice fly.
The Hawks scored three of their runs in the sixth and two in the seventh to seal the win.
