Fairborn volleyball falls to CJ FAIRBORN — The Fairborn boys’ volleyball team fell to Chaminade Julienne in three games, 25-15, 25-12, 25-21.
Dillon Romans led the Skyhawks with eight kills and two blocks. Nick Umbdenstock added three kills and one block, Eric Wilcox had two blocks, Ryan LeMay had three kills and Ryan Doster had 14 assists with one block.
“This was our first game of the year and there was a lot of rust,” said Fairborn head coach Eric Marthaler. “We had some guys out and missing a couple practices, and we had a lot of numbers this year so our tryouts went a little longer and we just weren’t as prepared as we usually are at this point. We’ve got a lot to work on, but there’s a lot of talent there.”
