Kuhn named KHN Chief Quality Officer

KETTERING — Brenda Kuhn, PhD, RN, has been named Chief Quality Officer for Kettering Health Network. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership for and oversight of the network’s quality initiatives, and all accreditation, certification and regulatory processes.

Kuhn previously served as the network’s Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care for Soin Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital.

Kuhn graduated from Kettering College with an associate’s degree in nursing. After earning her bachelor’s in nursing from Wright State University, she obtained a master’s degree in community health and nursing education from Wright State and a master’s degree in health care administration from Central Michigan University. She holds a PhD in public administration from the University of Southern California.

Kettering Health Network is a not-for-profit network of eight hospitals, 10 emergency departments, and 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
