City of Beavercreek Bike Rodeo

BEAVERCREEK — Kids, get your bikes and helmets ready for the City of Beavercreek Bike Rodeo. Come join the fun, demonstrate your bicycle riding skills and win some prizes.


The City of Beavercreek and the Beavercreek Bikeway Advisory Committee will hold a Bike Rodeo on June 7, 9am – 11am at Shaw Elementary School, 3560 Kemp Road rear parking lot. A rain date for the event is June 14. Children in kindergarten through sixth grade are to bring their own bicycles and helmets.


Children will be required to demonstrate five bicycling skills with prizes awarded in each age division. K&G Bike Center and Dayton Cycle Club volunteers will provide a free safety check for all bicycles. A free helmet provided by Children’s Medical Center will be given to the first 25 participants.


The event is organized by the Beavercreek Bikeway Advisory Committee to promote safe biking. AAA Miami Valley provides a Bicycle Rodeo Kit for the event. Contact Roger Brislawn 937-426-3253 for more information.
