Air Force Association and Museum Foundation offer reciprocal memberships

February 14, 2014

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — The Air Force Museum Foundation (AFMF) and the Air Force Association (AFA) will be offering reciprocal memberships. Current members of one organization can now join the other organization at a discounted rate.

Both AFMF and AFA extensively promote and support aerospace power, aviation history, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), and have partnered to benefit their members and others interested in the U.S. Air Force, its heritage, and STEM initiatives.

Each organization has made significant efforts to engage the public in honoring Airmen and Air Force heritage. For more than 50 years, AFMF has offered its Friends membership as a way to support the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in telling the Air Force story. AFA has been the reporting authority on U.S. Air Force activities as well as the primary advocate for a strong national defense. Together, this partnership will offer members a more holistic view of the U.S. Air Force – including the past, present, and future of aerospace power.

“The partnership between the Air Force Museum Foundation and the Air Force Association is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in the United States Air Force,” said Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Richard V. Reynolds, Chairman of the Air Force Museum Foundation’s Board of Managers. “Connecting people to their U.S. Air Force and telling the Air Force story is vitally important to us. This new relationship will grant our members access to another layer of that story.”
