Life is beautiful, even with all the trouble we sometimes go through. Now, I know that is easier said for some people, others cannot believe it. We have to be seated in the world and then sometimes life is hard to cope with. One thing I have found out, we can’t make it in life without a true friend.
Do you have someone in your life that will be in your corner with you no matter what? I hear people say all the time that they can’t trust anyone. Sometimes it takes a while to find a true friend, and then sometimes they turn out to be untrue.
I talk to people all the time who had a friend that they thought was true. Nothing is so heart-breaking than for a friend to turn away from you. Seems life is easy for some people to turn their backs on their friends. Now, I’m talking from experience, it’s happened to me. That’s why when I make a friend, I let them know I’ll never forsake them. That’s why I have so many in my life because I’ll be true to the core.
One thing, I’ve found out, it’s not hard for me to let them go. It takes a long time to get someone to trust you sometimes. I have been down the road of many heart aches. That’s why things and people don’t get me upset and depressed. I am the way I am and people know if you are true to the core or not.
The reason I’m writing for the paper again, I want to be in someone’s corner with them. Most people know me and before you listen to the negative, get to know me. The Lord walked this earth doing good, and some did not like Him. The old saying is, treat people the way you want to be treated. When you have reached the age that I am, I’ve seen a lot and I can handle most anything now.
Every day I live like heaven is on earth because I was made to have joy unspeakable and be full of glory. It’s really up to me if I want to go around mad and sad. Smile, laugh, and dance . Once we know who we are and why we were made, life gets better every day.
To make someone smile is what I want to do each day, when I bless others, I get blessed. The Bible says “Think more of others than I do myself.” When I do that, life is okay.
There is a lot of trouble in the world, but I’m not of it, just in it. What will I say or do for someone my last days on this beautiful God-given earth? Ever heard the old saying, “Be happy, don’t worry?” When you know longer try to handle life, you will go through this dark world shining like the light that we are supposed to be. Go around sad and mad? No one wants that.
But laugh, smile every day, and people will wonder what you have. That’s the name of the game (life) to make someone’s day. Go to sleep at night, rest in peace, and start all over when morning comes (if it comes).
Tomorrow is not promised to any of us, so what will we do with today? Good memories of yesterday, hope for a better tomorrow, but beauty and joy for today. Today has enough trouble of its own, tomorrow will take care of itself (if it comes). This is an evil world, but I refuse to let it get me down anymore.
Yes, I say anymore, because I used to be like a lot of other folks. Now that I’m in tune with heave, I just cruise right on through this mess, helping some as I travel singing and praying all the way home. The home unseen, wow—come on travel with me.
