The board has named five candidates who will be interviewed in the process. They are:

• Pam Callahan;

• Dr. James “Rick” McClelland;

• David Mills; and

• Dr. Willie Houston, Jr.

The meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Jan. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 9 at the board office at 819 Colorado Drive.

The third meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. At this meeting, final interviews will be held in executive session, along with deliberations about the selection. The new board member will be selected following a vote in a public session.
