Not a benefit to Greene County

I recently learned that the Greene County Commissioners are considering contributing Greene County Property Taxes to the Dille Farm improvements located at the corner of Wilmington Pike and Feedwire Road.

I believe Centerville annexed this property over the objections of many Greene County residents, and since Centerville is in Montgomery County, that only Montgomery County Property Taxes should be used in this endeavor, and not Greene County Property Taxes.

I used to be a resident of Centerville and paid my taxes when they were due. I don’t recall a time while I was a resident of Centerville, that Montgomery County Property Taxes were used for a project in Greene County, so I strongly object to the opposite situation taking place now that I’m a resident of Greene County.
