Scouts win, lose at GLSCL All-Star Game

XENIA — Three Xenia Scouts came away with a win during Wednesday night’s Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League All-Star Game at Grady’s Field, and two others lost.The South All-Stars — with Xenia Scouts Tad Sobieszczanski, Nick Land and Lucas Hamelink — scored three runs in the second inning, then tagged on insurance runs in the fifth, sixth and eighth innings to claim a 6-1 win over the North All-Stars at Grady’s Field on the Athletes In Action Sports Complex.Scout players Andrew Carrillo and Jordan Stading were on the North squad. As the host team in the nine-team GLSCL, Xenia split its representation among both squads.
